But yeah, thinking it over a bit.... that initial gambit by Flux is the biggest wild card. It's obviously a choice made out Flux's internal logic/emotion as there's no reason for town to draw attention like that, and no reason for scum/neutral to do so either.

Oh, good catch Cam, I had forgotten that part Hmmmmmmm I'm probably too far in the tunnel right now, but colored by the current speculation that post doesn't look very good. Very "thank you for being a good town" and no comment.

Yeah that was bothering me too.... although this also reminds me of how disorganized Flux has been with his thoughts on the topic. It's all over the place.
I'm still not getting scum vibes from Cabot too. I can't tell if that's a biased meta game gut feeling tho, so don't too much thought into it.

Keeping an eye on Zippedpinhead too. He hasn't really said much and I have no notes on him except for his "agreeing with partner" vote. I'm gonna go read over his posts now.

No, but I can totally see a scum team of Flux and Splinter doing that Danganronpa history: The mechanics of DR was a hallway and every PR would walk through it and be seen by anyone who crossed their paths, including the scum killer. The scum killer N1 seen by a couple of townies, CzarTim, decided to claim a one-shot cop D3 excusing it by helping ordinary townies learn how the hallways worked (now referred to as "fight club"). He didn't claim D2 because a townie used a power which made him and his target the only two lynch targets with no no-lynch option, but there were a lot of softclaims D2 from power-roles who knew what happened behind the scenes. CzarTim ended up being lynched at the end, but he was also a scum governor and took out the strongest town with him. The use of his ability revealed that he was scum as well and made the next day completely pointless. Despite that lynch of him he managed to get me and Pau (lovers who saw him) to reveal and our cop fake claimed as commuter. Splinter was scum on the same team as CzarTim and talks fondly about it despite scum losing (the neutral won T_T)

Flux went with that ridiculous and downright absurd gambit in Woof2 that backfired on him as well, lol.

I'm indifferent about voting right now btw. I don't feel strongly with anything, and I haven't had the need to prod anyone. If you switch votes, let me know and I'll probably vote with you.
Felt the need to mention it, as Gorlak brought it up.

I'd love it if Camjo and his partner posted more because I'm pretty confident he is town, but there isn't enough to go on. I almost want to vote for him for that reason, but I need a fake excuse

I love overthinking too much, but I've been toying with the idea of a double gambit where Flux is indeed a cop, but is hoping scum will WIFOM and think he is a veteran (hence the "doctor should not heal me" and second phase comment).

He could also just be an ordinary: That's true, but we also don't know what kind of roles are in play in Love Boat, either. This at least gives the rest of you an idea.

And yeah, that quote from Flux is intriguing. I admit I'm leaning back towards town a bit for Time/Flux.

This is something I haven't thought of too indepth, but it makes sense now that I think about it. It's why I'm getting slight town reads from the two from time to time. Curious to see what else Bats has to say.

Reading over the thread a bit.... something I'm wondering about right now is perhaps who should our final vote for the day be? I don't think we're gonna be too popular if we don't have a vote by the end, even though it'll likely be Time/Flux getting the axe. Likewise, Rest won't have my vote there forever, as there's little reason to think he's a scum right now. I'm not too confident in voting for Flux/Time tho.

The one thing that bothers me about batsnacks' plan is.... Assuming Flux and Time are town, what happens if they investigate the person who's night killed? Assuming they're scum, what is preventing them from lying about it and saying they investigated the person killed in the night?
Though I guess there is a tracker in theory.

My plan is to find out who scum is and present reasoning for why before D1 ends. I never manage to, but I keep trying. I've got tapatalk if you need me, just yell. Focusing on my Grandmother and mother right now. Real life is a bitch. I am sadly heading for bed right now. My analysis was short and lackluster as usual, but I didn't find anything particularly towny about Cabot and Splinter's reaction to Flux' claim at the start. If they really are on the same scum team I wouldn't be surprised. Explains Splinter's vote on Coppa as well (stay on Flux should he be the lead and look good or lynch someone else). I didn't find any big evidence for that though and if Fluxaisis were about to be lynched right now I would probably try to defend them. One curious thing I noticed was Splinter and Cabot both writing lists of possible scenarios ( 1, 1.5, 2). I find that a bit scummy because they're not hard to make for scum and don't really do much for town. Their reactions to the whole event were also quite muted, though to be fair so was I. Specifically my reaction was eating_popcorn.gif Oh, Splinter also voted three times for Flux. neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=195248183&postcount=295neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=195248918&postcount=301neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=195271739&postcount=444

Assuming they're scum, what is preventing them from lying about it and saying they investigated the person killed in the night? If we make them choose at random we can use that to be more suspicious of them. They have 12 couples to choose from (not themselves, blawl or the lynched couple) so the odds of hitting the night target is just 1/12. Not impossible, but also not very likely so it'd be a good conclusion that they were scum unless there was a good reason to choose that couple.
