Meta can be a useful tool when playing the game, and figuring out the players, but it should still only stay as a tool. Right now they are abusing meta to way too much, to the point that it's just annoying. Yeah, I don't understand why people sign up for a game only to use every opportunity to cheese their way to victory. |

I just caught up on AA and that's a really weird role claim.
I feel like I've seen a lot more people bringing up past games this season than before. Obviously that will happen but consistently using it to make a point sort of defeats an element of the game.

I was originally going to give their claim the 'unnecessarygambit' award, but there has been so absurd high number of unnecessary gambits in just two game-days in this game, that I don't even know any more.

What really blows my mind is that Time didn't say anything like "Hey, you know usually roleclaiming like that on Day 1 will ensure nobody lynches us, right?" or anything to that effect.

I'll take 'Xam is Scum' for 1000 please. ...actually i have no idea what he is. He could legitimately be a Cop or he could be Scum pulling a fake claim, I honestly can see him doing both of those things. Players like Xam are pretty much my worst nightmare. They play with such a brutal straightforwardness that they're hard to read. It was the same way with Nin in Final Fantasy. It's less straightforwardness and more high fluff content than anything. Constantly saying he isn't a good liar therefore he doesn't lie isn't helping either. >.>;; Schrodinger's Xam at this point. sawneeksie's picks are super interesting :> ty for humouring a spider o7 no worries boss! i'm interested to see how incorrect those guesses turn out to be. :p |

Is there anyway to change the page behavior so that "next page" goes to the top of the page?
Not reloading the whole page is bizarre. I had to scroll back up each time.

Currently there's not a lot I can do about it, but there will be some changes coming to Outer Gafia some time in the nearish future. The current provider, (boards.net) is releasing a new version of their board software sometime soon. (I'm not sure when.) I'm also researching other options for software and hosting, but if I make the change, I'll be sure to do it sometime during a lull between seasons. Either way, changes are coming sometime soon, just not sure when. |
