No, I'm not afraid to make enemies. The topic of the afterlife just happened to be the one being mulled over when I got the chance to post. Obviously scum hunting is still our best bet. They don't outnumber us. My top suspects personally are dusksoldier (who I still haven't stopped suspecting) and Bombay. I just find Bombay's reaction to Roy odd. Like someone trying to discredit another member of town. Corn and Czar are also suspicious, but not enough for me to want to see them gone. Corn was pretty lucky with his theory, and I find his laser focus on Tim. Tim is just kinda blending in. I'm going to put my vote on Bombay for now. VOTE: Bombay

Nope, I don't think he did. I wanted to know why his 2 choices were top town too and I don't think I got a response either. Right now he's looking like a potential candidate to me. He's failed to contribute much to the game, and repeatedly failed to hold up to it (you could argue a policy lynch angle there if you wanted to go that route), and a few people think he's suspicious already. I'm not entirely sold on him yet, but he's looking likely as one of the final candidates for the day IMO. Other thoughts: Dusk: You finally participated quite a bit! Yes! I disagree a lot with what you argued, and I'm not sold on you being town just yet, but I'm glad youposted some. Expect some questions tomorrow. Terrabyte: You brought up cornb's claim and people who responded to him (mostly mockingly). That list is: Nin, Kawl, and myself. Any leads you have to share based on that? I'm curious where you're going with that, but maybe that's a topic for another day.Trigger: I still want a bit more out of you. You've asked questions but focused almost exclusively on game mechanics and things that seem to draw attention away from actual players. Are you scared to make enemies here or what? What do you think we should do? As for me... I'll be around by voting time tomorrow and in the morning. We'll probably want to save it for the next day phase, but I brought them up because logically speaking, Scum would know that Corn was dead on the money. Whether Corn is just lucky or arrogant is still up for debate, I find hard to believe that if he wasn't scum that those who were would just stand idly by after such an outrageous claim that they know is true. Dude eff off with that. I wasn't "just lucky". I figured it out based on information Splinter posted in the thread. Logical deduction isn't luck. Admittedly my suspicion of Czartim can't be so informed.

If Roy is telling the truth, yes. As for Ty, your guess is as good as mine. Wait, what's the official explanation for why scum Ridli would tell the truth about there being a medium? And tell the truth about its downside?

You know.... looking back I did say I couldn't really envision Ridli and Czar both being scum. My whole "its gotta be Czar" was dependent on Ridli flipping town. Well we didn't get a flip, but Ridli is apparently scum so...
Unvote: Czartim

It's just that. I can track a player and see who he visits. Scum spirits can give powers to their team members? could L_P give frames to Islanders or was it for use in the afterlife? It would make sense that spirits give NKs to island scum, though considering the situation that the afterlife may not have any scum at all, explaining no deaths. it would purely be on us to drop scum into the afterlife. Kills are a basic faction thing though, so I don't really put a lot of creedence in my theory.

Obviously your tracking is to be used with the abilities passed from Scum Spirits. The question remains: Is every scum member ordinary on the island or not?

I too am a little curious at the choices of people receiving gifts, though I will say that there's nothing to be gained from this discussion, it's no different from someone offering a read list, except they actually give something to the ones they trust.
If anyone has any investigation power left from Zipped, should we consider roy as the target? So we can 100% trust his words?
I'm going to assume that the people who stated their bestows are likely town.

VOTE:Bombay Didn't realize that I put my vote in quotation tags. Just making sure it gets counted. Trigger, who are you afraid of ? Live scum if anything. I don't think that we have much to fear for from the after life side of things. Living scum can still cause mischief and lynch us. I don't have much of a read on you and Cabot so I'm a little weary. I don't really know if I can trust Coppa either. In Night Vale we were both town, and he was a lot more active about prodding people and pushing discussion. He's been quieter this game and poking low activity posters. It's a pretty easy way to look town while keeping yourself out of the line of suspicion.

They keep forcing me to give out reads but at this stage everyone could be scum. The last point is interesting since i see Kawl in that position. He keeps mentioning me ( he sure has a point) but on the other hand it keeps him away from discussion.

I wouldn't assume that just yet. It is still possible scum could have a power like bestowing a kill to someone, which they would be able to use the coming night. Just because scum didn't kill last night, doesn't mean they will NEVER be able to do that. If it's been a theory in the other thread, I'm assuming that everybody there at least started out as Ordinary? And did anyone ever get back to you regarding justifications for bestowing? Yeah, everybody that reacted started out as ordinary, including Zipped and me. About the bestow justifications: KalorI found that that I could bestow my power to two people so I quickly looked at the player list and chose Darryl. I wanted to go for someone that sort of seemed town but wouldn't get a lot of powers bestowed to them. That didn't exactly go to plan. /KalorSawneeksI'm not sure why others picked him but I picked Darryl as a 'lesser evil' of sorts because he seemed the least Scummy to me at the time just below Ty. Darryl might be tunneling on players for odd reasons but that doesn't necessarily make him Scum, in fact it's why I think he might be Town as I don't think Scum would be doing that and would be playing much safer. You also have to remember that yesterday had a couple instances of Sorian v. Darryl and Sorian's actions were not speaking Town to me at all while I more-or-less agreed with Darryl on various points. /SawneeksIf Roy is telling the truth, yes. As for Ty, your guess is as good as mine. Wait, what's the official explanation for why scum Ridli would tell the truth about there being a medium? And tell the truth about its downside? I think he was trying to get town points that way. If I claim to safe him, he would be believed to be town. If I didn't, the afterlife would think he was town because he got the deal. And that kinda happened, a lot of people in the afterlife said things like: "well, at least we know ridli is town because he knew about the deal!". Even after L_P his flip revealed that scum could communicate between the threads, it still took me basically outing Ridli before people put 1 and 1 together. L_P and Blarg didn't had any bestow powers, L_P could directly target an islander to control one of their powers, and Blarg could directly target an islander to frame. Also, last night there were two scum still alive in the afterlife: Ridli and Blarg. If anyone has any investigation power left from Zipped, should we consider roy as the target? So we can 100% trust his words? Remember that I am a miller now. About who I suspect: I don't trust Trigger. She isn't every active, but just active enough to not become a policy lynch. Her argument against Darryl is also kinda weak. You think he is scum because he is weary about someone claiming a very important role and wants to make sure that person is actually town? How is that anti-town behavior? Honestly, I am more suspect of people that just blindly believed my claim, like Trigger saying I am defiantly town and can fully corroborate what I said, yet as far as I know she didn't get bestowed with anything? I think squidy has been strangely cautious this game, except when defending ridli up until the point where he voted on him after saying he wouldn't vote on him and it's a mistake. If you didnt believe ridli to be scum, why did you end the day with your vote on him? sticking to your guns is something I consider town. You were clearly against his lynch but you put the vote on anyway, that seems like you're covering your voting pattern. roy have you confirmed ridli is scum? I'm pretty sure he is, but my feelings here pretty much ride on that. UNVOTE Badminton was cancelled due to heavy lava snow. I'll let this go some more. Look me in the eye and tell me there's a real chance that anybody but ridli gets lynched today. Also check up on your reading comprehension, what was a mistake was allowing ridli to dominate discussion, and it has continued to be a mistake but it's a mistake we seem determined to make, I would still rather lynch a dark horse candidate (IE Ty)than ridli but I'm not so endlessly naive as to believe that is going to happen and the way he has behaved since that post has pushed on the scales somewhat. I'd rather lynch Ty because he has this interesting habit of saying a lot of nothing, rehashing old information, and avoiding truly serious scrutiny. Are you going to vote for Ty? is sorian? is Cornb? no? then fuck off with your bullshit. I also thought this was extremely defensive.

he's been really unhelpful and distant this game, and the huge amount of shade being thrown at you for being suspicious of him is suspicious in and of itself do you think the dead would banish him? it's the only way we'd learn anything. Well maybe not, but they also get to kill their own player apparently. So if we don't find someone adequate, they will. That's almost too much for me to be cautious about.

Obviously your tracking is to be used with the abilities passed from Scum Spirits. The question remains: Is every scum member ordinary on the island or not? It's weird then that out of the two scum spirits, neither of them have any kill powers or anything that a tracking-style power would assist. It makes me feel like there must be a lot of scum, because otherwise we'd be getting incredibly lucky that no scum powers are going around.

If Roy is telling the truth, yes. As for Ty, your guess is as good as mine. Wait, what's the official explanation for why scum Ridli would tell the truth about there being a medium? And tell the truth about its downside? The theory is that blarg got a power on night 1 that makes it so that if someone is investigated they show up as the opposite alignment. So a town player shows up as scum and vice versa. He decided to use it on Ridli, because Ridli was one of his teammates. Then later on Day 2 when the afterlife thread found out about the medium, blarg took that information to the scum thread, where they formulated a plan to have ridli reveal the medium. This would cause one of two things: i. The medium comes forward validating Ridli's claim. And in turn we deem Ridli more trustworthy, since he shared vital information with us. ii. We lynch Ridli and he flips town instead of scum because of Blarg's power. This would give Ridli credibility in the afterlife thread. Their plan failed because at that point in time they didn't know a player's alignment would be hidden on flip.

Did you change that somewhere and I missed it, or did Dusk just completely misunderstand that power? Where are you getting ANY of this from Dusk?
