Xam is fluffy, but it seems to me to be more of the redhood variety than scum. Not really too suspicious of him as is.
Sorian being Sorian. Don't think lynching him is the right move at this time.
LoC definitely making himself big and loud.
Glad to see Blarg is here so I expect 30 pages by tomorrow. And that I'll give his posts/opinions more serious consideration following HP.
Sorry this is kind of token activity ish. Was asleep for most of the day and have a friend to pick up at the airport.
More meaningful contributions tomorrow.
Probably won't be putting my vote on xam though.
Double vote I think is useful to town until it's not (close to lylo). I think waiting for N1 and the amount of chaos/carnage in addition to any flips is a good idea. Id rather use it early to get lore information and get us to mid game status quicker.

I think people can find those guys suspicious but a lot of the time that is more so annoyance rather than good reads from the flips in other games. (And annoyance at posting style definitely influenced my opinion on Blarg when I should have paid him more attention so I'm trying to be conscious of that fact) |

Is it really such a bad thing to get rid of an annoyance? Look, not to be rude, but in Woof town lost a LOT when cabot/Splinter/me were killed off. A lot of the fluff posters were intentionally left alive by scum that game. Town literally only won due to hubris and some strange uneccessary gambit scum took. And even then, had Czar not survived town would have still lost because Czar needed to hand hold them.
If you aren't confident you can hit scum early game, go after who you think the weakest player(s) are. Quiet people and the like.

That's certainly a viable tactic. But if you are doing that at least call a spade a spade and make clear that is your reasoning. I also think that's more viable for a slower day 1 which this doesn't really appear to be thus far.

I'll admit I've had trouble following the last few pages. Anyway I've lost my conviction in voting for Kalor. I do believe that was an innocent slip up, especially since he outright said evil spirits.
Sorian suspects me, which is fair. Though I find it a bit funny how he berated me and others for hinting at what our animals might be. His posts in general suggests he has a LOT of knowledge that others aren't privvy to. But LordofCastamere has hinted at this as well. It is a bit annoying having some of our PR out themselves so casually, but Sorian seems to be doing it to improve town play.

It looked to me like he was digging for information that town does not need. It stuck out to me the most of the stuff that happened in here while I was dead. Eeeeh, maybe it's too early in the Day phase for me to really get a good read but it still just feels like Corn being Corn to me. Cor, you lot sure do natter on whenever I turn my back. I am against giving Sorian the ol' helter-skelter tonight, just because I feel like there's a good deal more we can learn from him and his role before offing him permanently. On the other hand, I do believe that Castamere is acting rather suspicious at the moment, even providing an excuse for why he won't be dead tonight. He's not necessarily one of those horrid rabble-rousers we've got to put in the ground but it's something we should watch out for nevertheless, luvs. I'm getting serious GAF Mafia Day 1 vibes here, in the 'I want to show I'm participating but not actually participate' sort of way. 1. What are you hoping to get out of Sorian before he dies? 2. LoC is being weird but I don't see how that makes him Scummy and I don't see how you find him scummy other than a hand-wavey' he's just suspicious' reason. Also how his excuse for him not dying makes him suspicious?? Going to need some elaboration here please. 'Course, luv. Sorian certainly knows more about the mechanics of this island than any of us lot, and has been hinting at as much. Even if it's a load of pigswill, knowledge of what he's holding back could give us more insight into whether or not he's worth keeping around in the long run. He claims something extraordinary will happen if he dies again, which sounds midway between a threat and a promise to me. I'd like to get a followup on that if possible, without a full claim o'course. In the case of Castamere, his statement simply sounds supiciously like an excuse to me, luv. Almost as if he's trying to plant the idea in his head that it won't be unusual if he continues to live regardless of how much time passes. It's grasping at strawrs of course, but such ghastly tactics are necessary if we want to squeeze any information out of this rather clueless first day. |

Personally I hope scum has the same knowledge our town PR seem to have (assuming Sorian and Castamere are town). Then I hope that one of them pulls a Czartim and provides all that information to the rest of town. I dislike sitting in the dark.
