and blarg think there is only 1 scum, however tomorrow, he can tie with scum here's the issue though, with the Doctor protecting any claimed roleblocker, the roleblocker will survive to perpetually block the scum kill, so scum shouldn't reveal themselves in that situation What doctor?

town is actually more hurt by seath being the roleblocker.
in a situation where RB claims and town lynches pop, blarg can't effectively tie the vote, and the roleblocker will likely find the last scum and continuously block the kill. Doctor protecting RB that is
then, if seath is RB, banned player can't send command, mod killed players can't send command, only a player killed at night could, giving pop credibility

if Seath is RB, Pop has nobody to come to his defence and is getting lynched. no, it's better if seath is a roleblocker, because then no one will claim when no one claims, one of the following happens 1. no RB, launch and nin wrong/lying 2. seath is roleblocker, mod killed, couldn't RB last night, launch and nin wrong/lying 3. seath is roleblocker, was killed/absorbed, pop right, launch and nin lying/wrong

Seath is dead, being banned has nothing to do with anything, if he is roleblocker then no one will ever come forward and the players won't know until the game has ended. Nin and Launch will probably just assume that either Seath or TL21xx are the RB and that no one is going to come forward to verify their guess. I don't know why you keep mentioning a doctor? We don't know if that is what nin became and even if he did, he's probably a x-shot doc. (one-shot probably)

huh, thought Roy said he was a doctor for sure anyways, I've already outlined why town assuming seath was role blocker is AMAZING for scum, so the only way it doesn't happen if tl21xx doesn't post once this entire day phase, which would be SO STUPID That or tl21xx claiming and having blocked pop-o-matic

Hey Scrafty,
Here's one you should be ok answering. You said way way back that Nin got a roleblocked message that was very flavorful. Did he get that message because he had to know that his kill was denied or did he get the message because everyone who has been getting RB'd got a message?

1. there's an open call for any roleblocker or switcher to reveal themselves, unless tl21xx doesn't post I the thread, they'll know if tl21xx is RB or not 2. I already covered this. mod kills happen during the day. how do dead players send commands Sorian? oh right they can't. therefore meaning that in the mod kill situation, the killer couldn't have been blocked if seath was the roleblocker

Roy is guessing just like the rest of us, all he knows is that nin was a dark knight and is now a paladin, that's all.
And no, mod kills do not happen during the day. Mod kills happen whenever the mod feels like it. There is no set structure to when the mod has to kill someone lol.

Plus Pop being right should confirm him as scum even more, seeing as scum would be the ones who knew what happened.

Idk, I think it's fairly obvious what happened and I'm amazed that they actually think no one died last night. The flavor text seems pretty clear, the fact that the game list at the beginning was reduced by one. Like I said, I guess I'm more receptive to this because it has happened to me before but if I was alive and town, I would have presented this scenario as what happened right from the start.
Pop's issue though is he didn't present it as some new epiphany, he presented it, late in the day phase, as a fact that has been obvious to him but he didn't feel the need to correct everyone else until then.

Logic does not prevail in that thread right now Hyper, you are using what you know as a dead person to make some assumptions that they will not be making anytime soon.

Scrafty isn't going to confirm or deny a modkill. Launch thinks no one died last night, Nin thinks no one died last night. The right answer doesn't matter, they are following garbage logic to the right answer.

Basically, Pop and Stack have the right answer and the right answer is what saves Pop's life. The majority is in the dark though and the more "obvious" conclusion which is wrong is also what is sentencing Pop to death. Pop trying to push will now just come off as desperation to save himself, Stack trying to push will just link her to her partner which will make her easy pickings tomorrow. This janitor power put your team in quite the catch-22.

Sorry Hyper, but the only way Pop survives today is if TI is the blocker AND he didn't target Pop AND he shows up in time to explain.
Pop was right, but unless he spots the change in the opening posts he won't be able to convince the others.

I'm not making assumptions say no roleblocker comes up, despite it being in towns favor for one to do so that means either seath is roleblocker, or no one is. END OF STORY. something an alive player can easily conclude ok, if no roleblocker, then nin and launch are wrong on their theory of mafia getting roleblocker. something an alive player can easily conclude ok, say seath was roleblocker. what happened? he left the game one of three ways mod kill during the day (seeing as he withdraw red during the day), he can't send any command, cuz he's dead. something an alive player can easily conclude scum kill at night. he didn't roleblock killer. duh. something any alive player can easily conclude mod kill at night. ?? as for why this happened, but let's go. seath, who has openly chosen to leave the game, likely banned so as to be unable to respond to pms, is somehow allowed by a mod that mod killed him to send a command? that makes little sense. something any alive player can easily conclude

only way town gets out of this is if tl21xx was the RB that targeted pop. that's it

It really facinates me how damaging bad ideas can be in the late game without anyone to correct them. One of those things you don't think about, but pops up in most LYLOs.

Even then though, no one claiming roleblocker doesn't mean much. Launch would have to falter for it to matter. If he suddenly turns on Nin because of no RB then you have a point but Nin is on board already. This isn't a packed game, we have 2 town, 2 scum, and inactive town, and Blarg the neutral. The town is there against Pop already. Odds are the inactive one will just bandwagon at this point.
At the end of the day, no one ever saw a message from the mod saying Seath was gone. They can assume whatever they'd like but because there is no answer there, anyone convincing enough can say whatever they want, whether they believe it or not, and people will follow along. This is how I get all of you to vote with me all the time.
If the rb doesnt show up blarg isnt gonna vote with them Doubtful, Blarg will end up going with his gut and I think his gut is either Nin or Pop at the moment. If there are no votes on Nin, he won't waste time.

Clearly an oversight but it is what it is.
There are six people in the game, two votes is 100% a bandwagon, don't be blind to what's happening lol. Especially at this snail's pace they are running at? Two people agreeing on a vote is huge right now.
