Well Pop never actually said that the Mafia killed him, just that someone did something to hide his flip.
This is going to end up hurting scum much more than town though. It also gives an easy answer when no switcher comes forward.

Hey, whatever gets him where he needs to be is fine. I'm gonna have a giggle at his insistence the mafia didn't kill Seath once Stack flips though. I'm thinking Stack might be the last scum standing if town gets a resurgence. Launch tunnels way harder than Nin does and one will probably have to cave to the other.

Assuming Pop doesn't get lynched, this flips things so that either they lynch Launch today (scum wins) or they lynch Stackpole today. Being proven right by Stack's flip would make it a hard case to get Pop lynched in later days. At this point, town's best chance is listening to Launch but his correct conclusion is built on faulty logic and it'll be punched through instantly if the role blocker shows up and says that they blocked anyone other than Pop last night. If Launch loses the momentum then the day will go on track towards that Launch or Stackpole lynch and both are probably inevitable scum wins. |
