How many times are people going to have to bring up how questionable Hyper is before it sticks? Every time it happens people are all "you're reaching, reaching like a sloth grasping at its own arm thinking that it is a branch. You know before they let go of the actual branch and fall to their deaths."

It amazes me that Launch was all skeptical of Hyper and has now 180'd and is a defender.

Still kicking myself for not going after Xam. I gave him too much benefit when I shouldn't have.

And now Darryl is going after Launch for going after Hyper. What a mess. Where's that real cop?
What's Launch thinking about Blarg? Tell me Launch, I thought we were making true love!

Hyper is really trying to channel Cthulhu!Sorian. Voting and dropping the vote with minimal effort from the person voted on. That was one of my main flaws that I realized around the time of election. Wonder if anyone will notice or care.

Xam needs to mention at least one of the scum team in his suspicions. It reads like he's trying to avoid mentioning other people, only going for the mildly suspicous people.

If Xam's not careful, he's going to get himself lynched and implicate his scummates by the fact that he's not voting/suggesting then,. :\

I think the plan is still to bus Xam to make Hyper look good? Which is great if Hyper wasn't already on borrowed time. Idk what's going on.
Edit: I mean, we know the answer now though. They are still going to argue back and forth. "Would Xam have mentioned his teammates? Would he have avoided them? etc. etc."

They shouldn't be bussing, Hyper potentially being on the chopping block or not. :\

They shouldn't be bussing, Hyper potentially being on the chopping block or not. :\ It's a risk/reward thing. I do think bussing Xam is a good call, a bus only works if you are the one driving the bus not hopping on once it's already left it's first stop. After day 1, Xam isn't going too hot, town will go on him today or next day phase with or without bus help. The issue here is that Hyper is DEAD when the real cop comes forward so bussing a teammate isn't going to buy goodwill. The MOST Hyper could hope to get out of this is a turn around to lynch the real cop if said cop claims while still alive but then Hyper just dies the following day. The more likely scenario is scum accidently kills the cop at night and Hyper wakes up fucked.

I don't know what they are doing, but hyper hinted a bit toward which powers he has and I guess this could be part of some bigger plan?

This back and forth between Xam and Hyper is way too scripted.

But Hyper was dead set against lynching Xam day 1, which is what started this, and he can't claim that he investigated, because he's already set up a narrative where he gets role blocked every night.

They're both living on borrowed time tbh. Best they can do right now is sit tight and try not to implicate their teammates.
Proper use of StackpoleH's power (i.e. Not spite-using it on Blarg on Night 1 like Xam wanted to) could swing the game in their favour but at this rate they'll have to use it sooner rather than later.

Man, I can't believe no one tore into that post from Hyper at the start of day. Reading that just screams pre-typed but how would he have pre-typed a message about being roleblocked? That was not the post from someone who was surprised that their action failed.

Would it ever actually be a valid scum tactic to role-block every night rather than just outright kill him? Especially with the doctor dead.

Would it ever actually be a valid scum tactic to role-block every night rather than just outright kill him? Especially with the doctor dead. Yes, definitely, it casts suspicion. The MGS game, one of the main way scum was able to screw with town for a few days was roleblocking or switch killing (don't remember which) past the claimed doctor. When you claim a PR but are never delivering, people ask questions, any useless questions help scum.
So him claiming to be roleblocked isn't the issue. It's that he didn't seem surprised at his failure and he fumbled with the way he claimed to receive the information that he was roleblocked.

Hyper: "Tell me about your suspicions on TAP and StarSketch" Xam: "Here's where I said why I was suspicious of Seath:"
That's at least the second time Xam has done that.
