Just remember that RNG can cause Kefka to change the target to one of you guys, or even himself. Which is exactly why the strong kill doesn't change targets Yeah, just lettin' you guys know in case you swap something and it still ends up targeting one of you.

Cmon Stackpole Goof off on your phone for a bit You guys can feel free to PM her about posting here. This is her first game and I don't think the Warriors of Chaos thread was up when the Role PMs first went out so it might've slipped her mind.

I'm here! Sorry, was at work all day and didn't realize things were happening already. I am Ultimecia, Compressor of Time, and I have the ability once per game to erase a player from existence with the command "absorb." No one will see the role PM, including us, and it counts as the kill for the night.

Also, could you guys clarify what a strong kill is? Could not find it on the wiki.
I am very excited to be mafia in my very first game! No fun being the good guy.

Honestly we should probably Absorb N1. That is insanity. We can just eliminate a player from the game just like that.

Ok, no cops/very weak cops in this game We need to worry about trackers/watchers We have at least a doctor and some other protective role. Roleblockers, bulletproof, secondary doctors, etc.
Scrafty does the absorb negate protection?

Yeah, I think using it on someone widely suspected by the town makes the most sense. That way everyone will keep wondering if they were scum-- and the fact that the kill has unusual features means it could be perceived as coming from a neutral.

Nope, the kill has to go through for the absorb to work, and if it's blocked or negated then too bad, so sad.

I have question If Kefka swaps someone who is targeted by a Roleblocker, and the Roleblocker ends up targeting Kefka at the end of it, how long do I have to get out of the thread before a time travel paradox destroys all of Outer Gafia?
Actual question: If Kefka swamps someone who is targeted by a Roleblocker, and the Roleblocker ends up targeting Kefka at the end of it, does the Roleblocker not do anything to Kefka?

Kefka would be unaffected in that case because he performs his action before the roleblocker performs theirs. The RB has to target him directly to work.

And if she does I'm gonna be hella pissed. /I'm talking personally based on the devastating effect this has had before, in the cthulhu game To summarize, there was a book that went person to person, with a number of powers. These powers were: 1. -Sending a short message to another player. 2. -Protecting another player during this night. 3. -Block a player 4. -Your vote counts double on the next day. 5. -killing both yourself and target by removing both of you from existence ; roles of both player will not be revealed when the leave the game So resident soon-to-be-a-pain-in-the-ass once the game starts (just kidding Sorian, if you can read this) was a recruitable townie that got recruited N1, with our cop catching him in the act. Safe to say though, day 2 was a little crazy, and this cop just acted a little passive-aggressive against Sorian. Safe to say, morning comes, cop and Sorian are gone, and town for the majority of the game just thought Neuromancer was a crazy stupid townie. Oh, did I mention Sorian was a part of a 2nd scum team that town didn't even know about for the longest time? Yeah, safe to say they didn't even know the dude was scum, and wouldn't have had I, who subbed in later on in the game, not watched the cop the first night (well really it was the OG player of the OG player who I subbed in for). Piece things together- Neuromancer is a cop that acted a little weirdly and took out scum/neutral Sorian BOOM When you take out a player like that, who monopolizes conversation and such and whom no one can get a read for, you're doing a HUGE player for the scum team Actually you know what let's just use it Night One against Blargonaut or Sorian

Here's how D1 should go: Hyper does his role claim Everyone else gets angry Everyone else votes out someone else that's not one of us And here's N1: Stackpole Absorbs Blarg/Sorian Kefka hates on Hyper in order to potentially get Town to kill itself D2: Town gives up because Blarg is dead

I'm not so into that. I really like the idea of saving the absorb to use against someone seemingly suspicious, so that everyone might think it was a town action like in Cthulu. What do you guys think?

I like the idea of wiping Blarg from existance N1. Any objections? Whoa, easy there, Turbo. You've got a whole day phase to get through before that decision has to be made. Maybe cool your jets a bit and see what develops?

Maybe cool your jets a bit and see what develops? Agreed, I just wanted to put the idea out on the table now. If Blarg doesn't play like he normally does I'll reconsider, or if for whatever reason someone decides to role claim.
