So, if you've never played Starbound, it's like Terraria in Space. If you've never played Terraria, it's like Minecraft, but 2D and with an actual plot.
I mentioned getting an urge to play some Minecraft a while back, and someone in one of the GAF threads suggested Starbound instead, since it was about to get a major update. (Which it just did.) I love both, so I just rented a Starbound Server.
(VERY) Outer Gafia
Server Address: 50.97.235.72 Port: 22925 Password: gafia
Sixteen players can log in at once, have fun, and save me a planet to build on!

I haven't touched this game in a loooong while. Maybe I'll jump back in. Is it even out of beta/alpha?

*joins server* *beams down to planet* *doesn't see any of Retro's buildings I can blow up* *leaves dissapointed* Assuming we're starting on the same planet, (I don't actually know,) there should have been a small hovel made of dirt just to the left of where you beam down. That's my base of operations until I can get off this forsaken rock.

My planet had a overgrown tower directly to the right of the spawn spot.

You are going to need to give your coordinates Retro. Otherwise if people are playing at the same time you can just beam to them. After being invited to a party of course.

Lag is unbearable. Won't be able to join you guys. I'm sorry to hear that, Jay. While I'm sure distance is a big part of it, I've been getting some lag too, so it might be the host. If I can somehow make it better, I'll let you know so that maybe you can try again.

What is the host? AWS? Or the one that Starbound advertised on the launcher?
