Btw, when I have all votes, I'll shoot you a PM to re-instate their ability to post. I like watching them run themselves in circles while I slowly type results. Probably just open it up for everyone, right? Spectators coming into the thread talking shit after a game had finished is kind of a Gafia trademark!

As time has expired, I have removed the players' ability to post in the thread. I also fixed one of your spelling mistakes, Sora. Was it the "read" or did I have another? It was the read. And yep, shoot me a PM or an email, and I'll let them back in. I'll throw down a post letting them know that posting has been disabled, and will eventually be re-enabled.

Anyone want to start placing bets on who is getting lynched and which team will win?
(Keep in mind that Splinter's gambit at the end there is based on a lie, if the tanner is lynched, the wolves lose too).

That cursed role is out there somewhere.... Also, this was definitely a more fun game to watch. There was a lot of confusion until the end, which I think means the game was balanced properly.

I do wish they had started discussion earlier instead of complaining down to the wire

Test post from tapatalk app. I hope the tanner wins but its unlikely. I think the wolves are going to win but mostly via town stupidity.

Full disclosure, I am waiting on one vote but the last vote will not matter, the game is decided. But suffering is required. Retro, if you see this, you can lift them not being able to post. No non-game players should post yet.

I've created an archive board where the threads can be kept. I figure we can keep the thread open for 3-5 days, then move it to the archive.

I do wish they had started discussion earlier instead of complaining down to the wire I wish they had too, and I would've started it had it looked like talking benefited me more. As it stood, I was too worried me coming out with false claims would draw attention to me too quickly. It worked out way too well for the wolf team (actually, was my seer guess on where the mason was accurate? The only reason I guessed those 2 was I knew Ouro was a drunk, and that another mason was out there, it proved too many other stories true for people to call that out). Too little payoff by not talking since nobody was questioning me until Ouro called me out with 2 hours to go.

There's a pretty obvious strat that this set-up would be good for but I'm not going to say anything because I may have to use it myself in the future I just enjoy seeing the number of viewers in that section hovering at 7 or 8 and imagining people staring at the thread like a hawk. Hyper has already told me his #unnecessarygambit (though I'll be honest and say I didn't understand what he meant completely) so at least something will happen at some point. way I explained it was weird, but plan was solid for all non drunks person claims of not a wolf, I reveal I put that role I someone, person was now wild alpha wolf doesn't do anything, I place wolf card on someone I guess it wouldn't work on a minion either

Wait, looking back at *splinter his [redacted] post, is he the doppelganger that got changed in a troublemaker? Would fit with the number of [redacted]. Well at least someone bothered to decipher my post. None of the players would My plan was to claim dopple-witch who gave Blarg the tanner card. Someone would obviously point out this is impossible, and Terrabyte would hopefully catch on and call me the minion. 2 things went wrong: 1) People kept mentioning Blarg's immunity. I needed the "mistake" to be obvious but not that obvious. 2) Terra was switched, that pretty much ruined any chance I had other than teaming up with the wolves

Yeah, Splinter was the other person who sent me their plan. I dug it though Sentinel is still fresh in everyone's minds so I figured the mistake was going to be way too obvious for people to put any stock into it. Terra getting switched blew everything up though.

Well at least someone bothered to decipher my post. None of the players would I love trying to figure out that kind of logic puzzles. You could also see that in the gafia game where I really wanted to figure out what happened during that night that we had 2 town PR dead. Coppa was pretty stoked about that in the dead thread BTW, Sorian, I read that if it was a tie, you would have let both team wolf and team tanner win? Personally, in that situation I would have only gave the win to team tanner. I think the rule "tanner wins if he is lynched" overwrites the rule "wolfs win if a non-wolf gets lynched" in that case.

Personally, in that situation I would have only gave the win to team tanner. I think the rule "tanner wins if he is lynched" overwrites the rule "wolfs win if a non-wolf gets lynched" in that case. True but ties cause all kinds of weird interactions. Remember, because of the way ties are handled (both players dying), a tie at any time is already a huge disadvantage to the wolf team because now there are two chances to hit scum instead of one. This is definitely a grey area IMO that is dependent on what is going on. If it had been (for example) a tie between Tanner and Witch then yes, you are right, I would have just gave it to the Tanner team and called it a day. The fact that L_P got lynched though was 100% effort by the wolf team so I think it's only fair that I would have shared the wealth on that one.
TL;DR: House rules on that one and in my house, for that specific scenario, Wolves and Tanners would have been awarded the win.

I am fine with house rules, as long as those are made VERY clear in the opening posts.

I am fine with house rules, as long as those are made VERY clear in the opening posts. I agree but it's near impossible for me to put a rule down for every situation like that. The default state of a tie between Tanner and anyone else is Tanner wins, everyone loses but this would have been a special exception to me for a tie. I don't think people are going to mind when they should have lost but I give them a win. I think I need to re-write the tanner role description and wolf role description so its more clear that if Tanner dies then only their team wins.
